Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set out the conditions for use of Hagoo (the "Service"). All registered users (the "Users") agree to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Article 2 (Registration)
You may apply for registration to the Service by agreeing to these Terms and following the prescribed procedures. We may refuse registration in the following cases.
- When false information has been submitted
- When the applicant has previously violated these Terms
- When we otherwise deem the registration inappropriate
Article 3 (User ID and Password Management)
Users are responsible for managing their own user IDs and passwords. Under no circumstances may Users transfer, lend, or share their user ID or password with any third party.
Article 4 (Fees and Payment Methods)
The Service offers a Free plan and a Premium plan. Premium plan pricing is as described on the Plans page.
- Purchases via mobile apps (iOS / Android) are processed through each platform's in-app purchase system
- Web purchases are processed through Stripe
- The Premium plan is an annual subscription
- Cancellations and refunds follow each platform's policies
Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not engage in any of the following activities while using the Service.
- Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
- Acts related to criminal activity
- Acts that destroy or interfere with the servers or networks of the Service
- Acts that may obstruct the operation of the Service
- Collecting or storing personal information about other Users
- Unauthorized access or attempts to gain unauthorized access
- Impersonating other Users
- Directly or indirectly providing benefits to anti-social forces in connection with the Service
Article 6 (Suspension of the Service)
We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users if we determine that any of the following circumstances apply.
- When performing maintenance, inspection, or updates to the computer systems related to the Service
- When providing the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters
- When we otherwise determine that providing the Service is difficult
Article 7 (Copyright)
Copyright in content posted by Users to the Service (task names, reward names, chat messages, images, etc.) belongs to the respective User. Users grant us a license to use such content to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
Article 7-2 (Status of Rewards and Points)
The "rewards" and "points" in the Service are concepts that have meaning only within the app and are freely set up and managed within each Home (family group). We do not provide any money, goods, or services to Users in connection with these concepts. The content of rewards and their delivery are handled entirely between Users within the Home.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
We make no express or implied warranties that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including defects related to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security flaws, errors, bugs, or rights infringement).
Article 9 (Changes to the Service)
We may change, add, or discontinue the content of the Service with prior notice to Users.
Article 10 (Changes to These Terms)
We may change these Terms without the individual consent of Users in the following cases.
- When the change is in the general interest of Users
- When the change is not contrary to the purpose of the service agreement and is reasonable in light of the necessity of the change, the reasonableness of the content after the change, and other circumstances related to the change
Article 11 (Handling of Personal Information)
The handling of Users' personal information by the Service shall be in accordance with our separately established Privacy Policy.
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute arising in connection with the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of our business shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
